Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community is seeking a Part-Time Clinical Dietitian to join our Dining Services Team!
- 16 hours per week
- Preferably Tuesday's and Thursday's
Compensation: Dependent upon experience
Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Complete comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents and develop individualized nutrition care plans to support their health and well-being.
- Monitor residents with nutritional risks, such as unintended weight loss, pressure injuries, dehydration, or other medical concerns, and recommend appropriate dietary interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure residents receive appropriate nutrition services and participate in care plan meetings.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with Department of Health regulations, professional standards, and facility policies.
- Support Dining Services by reviewing menus, monitoring meal quality and therapeutic diets, educating staff on modified diets, and helping maintain nutrition policies and procedures.
- Supervise Diet Office operations, including scheduling and communication, while participating in inspections, required meetings, and other department initiatives as needed.
Position Requirements:
- Must be a Pennsylvania Registered Dietitian (RD)
- Previous geriatric clinical knowledge
- Experience in Skilled or Long-Term Care
